Lithuanian-born soprano VIDA MIKNEVICIUTE received her Master Degree in singing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Kaunas. She has also studied at the Felix Mendelssohn Academy of Music in Leipzig. Since 2011, Vida Mikneviciute has been a member of the ensemble of the State Theatre in Mainz. Her repertoire includes Pamina and Papagena (The Magic Flute), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Micaëla (Carmen), Wellgunde and Freia (Das Rheingold), Helmwige (Die Walküre), Elettra (Idomeneo), Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Violetta Valéry (La Traviata), Eva (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg), Margarete (Faust), Blanche (Dialogues des Carmélites), Mimi (La Bohème) and others. She has worked with world-renowned conductors such as Simone Young, Daniel Barenboim, Adam Fischer, Valery Gergiev and many others.
