Over the last few years FRANCESCO DI MAURO as the Coordinator to the Artistic Direction of the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra, has gained a vast experience in the administrative and artistic management of large orchestral masses. Has been the Permanent Conductor of the Pazardjik State Symphony Orchestra of Bulgaria, and the First Principal Guest Conductor of the Bergeries theater in Paris. He boasts a rich and intense conducting activity which began after obtaining the Diploma in Conducting at the Paris Conservatory under the guidance of famous masters such as Sergiu Celibidache and Henri-Claude Fantapié. Maestro Di Mauro regularly conducts important opera, symphony and chamber orchestras in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Croatia, Portugal, Australia, Russia, Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, United States, etc. In addition to regular work in Italian theatres, his international career is developing with engagements at prestigious musical institutions such as the Carnegie Hall in New York, Opera Hong Kong, Zagreb National Opera, the Warsaw National Chamber Opera, Opera Lyra Ottawa, Odessa Opera House, Gdansk Opera Theatre, the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra, the Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Sofia Radio Television Orchestra, the Ukrainian National Philharmonic Orchestra of Kiev, the Zurich Tonhalle Symphony Orchestra, the Mannheim Chamber Orchestra, the Toscanini Philharmonic Orchestra of Parma, the Denver Symphony Orchestra, the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Oporto Symphony Orchestra.
