Latvian mezzo-soprano IRMA PAVĀRE studied vocal arts in Latvian Academy of Music with the professor Anita Garanča. She made her debut at the Latvian National Opera as Third Dame in Die Zauberflöte in 2008 and Olga inEugene Onegin in 2011. Currently the singer continues studies with Anita Garanča and regularly participates in international opera masterclasses with Monserrat Caballe, Margarita Honig, Joy Mammen and Irina Gavrilovici. Her repertoire also includes Cherubino in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, Frau Gertrud in Leo Blech's Versiegelt, Fidalma in Cimarosa's Il matrimonio segreto and Beppe in Mascagni's L'amico Fritz. She has performed the role of Speranza in Monteverdi's Orfeo at the Latvian Academy of Music in frames of an international baroque project. Recently the repertoire has been enriched by Carmen in Bizet’s Carmen, Lubasha in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Tzar’s bride and Isabella in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri. Works as linguistic coach for diverse vocal art projects.
