Etīna Emīlija Saulīte

Soprano ETĪNA EMĪLIJA SAULĪTE studied at the Emīls Dārziņš Music School, where she received a strong foundation in music theory and piano performance. She has further developed her vocal artistry in collaboration with vocal pedagogues Irina Gavriloviča and Eytan Pessen, and through masterclasses led by distinguished artists including Wolfram Rieger, Rosemary Joshua, David Gowland, and Yvonne Kenny. Since autumn 2025, Etīna Emīlija has been a member of the prestigious Accademia Teatro alla Scala.

Etīna Emīlija Saulīte previously sang in the chorus of the Latvian National Opera and is an active performer in concerts and festivals. As a soloist, she has appeared in the Latvian National Opera and Ballet Season Opening Gala Concert under the baton of Mārtiņš Ozoliņš. She has also performed at the Jurmala Festival concert Born in Latvia, sharing the stage with world-renowned tenor Aleksandrs Antoņenko and conductor Ainārs Rubiķis. In 2024, she co-created and performed as the soloist in the concert-story DEBISĪ. Ir jāpiedzīvo, together with pianist Daniils Mickevičs and actor Artis Jančevskis.

In spring 2025, she made her solo role debut at the Latvian National Opera, singing Liù in Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot. Later that year, her professional path led her to the stage of Teatro alla Scala, where she portrayed Anna as a young woman in the new production of Anna A.

Etīna Emīlija Saulīte has received several awards, including 1st Prize at Ineses Galantes Talanti 2024 and at the 1st International Vocal Competition VOX IUVENTAE 2025. In 2024, she was also a finalist and prize winner of the Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition, performing at the final concert with the Jurmala Festival Orchestra conducted by Mārtiņš Ozoliņš.
