Soprano Jolanta Strikaite received a master's degree from Latvian Academy of Music.
She has also studied with prof.Anita Garanča and trained in vocal masterclasses with various teachers, including Axel Everaert (Netherlands), Asta Kriksciunaite (Lithuania). In 2013 she took part in the Nordopera Intensive Project "Professional Integration of young singers".
She has sung different roles in following art projects -Valensienne in Die Lustige Witwe, Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro (Latvian National Opera), Bastienna in Bastien und Bastienne, Leonora in Hindemit's The Long Christmas Dinner, Soprano soloist in Orff's Carmina Burana and Catulli Carmina and soloist in Bernstein's Mass in Estonia. With great success she sang the title role in Respighi's Maria Egiziaca (nominated as the best production for Grand Music Award 2013 in Latvia ). Moreover, there has been a successful collaboration with concert organisations in Latvia, Poland for chamber music projects, as well as Latvian National Symphony Orchestra.
