Alexandra Goloubitskaia

Pianist

The musical talent of Moldova born pianist ALEXANDRA GOLOUBITSKAIA was discovered and promoted from a very early age. She graduated with honors from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and received the Austrian Appreciation Award as the class best graduate in 2003. In Vienna she won the Bösendorfer and Hans Gabor Belvedere Competitions.

She then evolved into a sought-after soloist, Lied accompanist and chamber music partner, constantly expanding her repertoire and continuing to receive international recognition. Various recitals and extensive accompanist appearances have brought her to concerts and festivals all over Europe, South Africa, and South America.

Alexandra’s engagements proof her artistic variety and include Vienna State Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro Colón, Bayreuth Festival with Kirill Petrenko and Semyon Bychkov, Salzburg Festival with Riccardo Muti and at the Komische Oper Berlin.

Both the critics and the public reacted enthusiastically to her piano accompaniment in the concert production of Tristan and Isolde and the "excellent Lied accompaniment" of the chamber music at the International May Festival in 2020 at the Wiesbaden State Theater, where during the gala performances of Der Ring des Nibelungen in summer 2021 she took on the role of the entire orchestra.
