This ensemble of the LNO musicians plays together already for several years. In the 2017/2018 season, they will offer to audience a special programme – dedication to Latvia’s Centenary Celebration. They have chosen a variet and contrasting list of pieces by composers of different generations. Among these pieces, there is every popular music, and also something that could turn out a great find! Alongside with music by Alvils Altmanis, Tālivaldis Ķeniņš, Pēteris Vasks, Gundaris Pone, Juris  bols, and Marina Gribinčika, the ensemble prepares a very special surprise – a new piece by Arturs Maskats, this being the first co-operation between the ensemble and the composer.
