A musical tiramisu in the spirit of beautiful Italy: pearls of Italian romantic and verismo operas, songs, and music for film. The holiday spirit will be provided by soloists of the Latvian National Opera, Ilona Bagele, Inga Šļubovska-Kancēviča, Tatjana Trenogina, Jānis Apeinis, Raimonds Bramanis, and Mikhail Chulpayev, as well as the orchestra under the guidance of conductor Mārtiņš Ozoliņš. The concert will feature music by Ruggero Leoncavallo, Giacomo Puccini, Vincenzo Bellini, Giuseppe Verdi, Gaetano Donizetti, Pietro Mascagni, Gioachino Rossini, Nino Rota, Saverio Mercadante, Lucio Dalla, Luigi Denza, and others.
