Armands Siliņš

ARMANDS SILIŅŠ was born in Saldus, Latvia. In 2002, he graduated the vocal class of professor Margarita Gruzdeva in Jāzeps Mediņš Music school.
Since 2006 he is a soloist of the Latvian National Opera. Armands Siliņš repertoire includes title roles in Macbeth and Rigoletto, Giorgio Germont in La traviata, title role in Gianni Schichhi, Guglielmo in Le villi, Schaunard (La Boheme) a.o. As baritone solo the artist has participated in some concert performances: The Long Night, cantata by J.Kalniņš, Dixit Dominus by A.Vivaldi, Mass in G major by F.Schubert,  Requiem by G.Faure, La damnation de Faust  by H. Berlioz, Carmina Burana by C. Orff.
Armands Siliņš has recieved Latvijas Gāze annual award as the opera best soloist of the season 2014/2015.
