Lighting Designer

Lighting Designer. Technical Supervisor at the Théâtre du Silence, directed by Jacques Garnier and Brigitte Lefèvre, where he has designed the lighting for several productions. Pascal Mérat also worked with Peter Brook at the Bouffes du Nord, where he designed the lighting for La tragédie de Carmen and Mahabharata. He has collaborated with stage directors including Klaus Michael Grüber, Lluis Pasqual, Gilbert Deflo, Hugo de Hana, Pier Francisco Maestrini, Irina Brook, Macha Makeïeff, Yoshi Oïda, Alain Maratrat….

For the Opéra de Paris he works with: Maurice Béjart, Douglas Dunn, Agnes De Mille, Davide Bombana, Suzanne Linke  Abou Lagraa…and for Maina Gielgud, Michel Rahn, Jo Stromgren, David Nixon, Nasser Gousset-Martin He works frequently in Slovenia. In project: "King Lear" (Barcelona), "Iliada" (Ljubljana), "My Fair Lady", "Heda Gabler", "Le Barbier de Séville", "La Forza del Destino" etc.
