Lighting director Nicolas Gilli started his career at the National Theatre of Nice. He has been a lighting director for various productions in theatres, concerts, art biennales and different festivals. During his career, Nicolas Gilli has collaborated with leading lighting directors and stage directors in France. The artist has been the touring lighting director for the world-renowned French singer ZAZ since 2013. His recent works include the rock opera The Red and the Black at the Le Palace theatre in Paris, the Sporting Summer Festival in Monte Carlo, Monaco (2014-2017), the contemporary art biennial Movimenta 2017 in Nice, the Crussol Festival and many others. Currently Nicolas Gilli is working on the ZAZ World Tour 2019, the musical West Side Story at the Cergy-Pontoise theatre in France, the operetta Candide by Leonard Bernstein at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet theatre and the Grand Theater Geneva, as well as the opera Les contes d’Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach at the Seoul Arts Center.
