Eugenijus Sabaliauskas

Lighting Designer

EUGENIJUS SABALIAUSKAS is a seasoned Lithuanian lighting designer, collaborating with artists across theatre, fashion, dance, opera, and more. He has been a frequent nominee for Lithuania's Golden Stage Cross awards for his influential lighting designs. His work has gained international recognition, being featured at major festivals worldwide in countries including France, Argentina, Germany, the UK, the USA, Japan, and Brazil, among others. Additionally, he is acclaimed for mentoring Lithuania’s leading lighting artists and has made significant contributions to both classical and contemporary productions, as well as international and multidisciplinary art events.

In 2014, he was awarded the Golden Stage Cross in the category of the best Lithuanian author's production with the contemporary opera Have a Good Day! team. In 2009, Sabaliauskas was awarded as the best lighting designer at the International Rijeka (Croatia) Small Stage Festival (performance Hamlet).
