Ainārs Pastars

AINĀRS PASTARS has been a lighting designer since 2005, specializing in directing lighting for concerts. During his career, he has collaborated with the leading musicians of Latvia, including Instrumenti, Brainstorm, The Sound Poets, Mesa, Gustavo, and others. Pastars is a lighting professional: since 2010, he has been working for the company NA as an electronic engineer, creating innovative lighting equipment for concerts, used on tour by Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Muse, and others. He has collaborated with the dancer and choreographer Elza Leimane in creating performances of Vārna (2016) and Tell Me (No)Tales (2019).
