Marta Fiedler

Costume Designer

One of the stars of the Polish National Ballet. She studied dance and started her carrier in Poznań and then became one of the prides of the Theatre Wielki-Polish National Opera.

Marta Fiedler does not limit herself to dancing carrier. She also designs clothes. Like many well-known theatre, film and stage artists, she began with experiments on herself, gaining a reputation of one of the best dressed ballet artists. She has decided though to design as well theatre costumes and has started of course in the ballet. She has developed her activity in the frame of annual choeographic workshops of the Polish National Ballet, designing costumes and advising her colleagues who create short choreographic pieces. And she has an impressive output in this field. In 2014 she officially made her debut as a costume designer for ballet as Krzysztof Pastor invited her to collaborate on his choreography „Adagio & Scherzo” for the Polish National Ballet. Since then, she has received subsequent commissions for costume designs.
