The name of the Latvian National Opera has been mentioned in the international review of the Opernwelt magazine about the most memorable events of the last season in opera art. In the category "Discovery" the reviewer Jörn Florian Fuchs has singled out Jānis Kalniņš' opera HAMLET under the direction of Kristīna Vuss.

Opernwelt is a German-language magazine dedicated to musical theatre. Every year in October, the magazine publishes a yearbook in which 50 opera critics from Europe and America give their assessment in 15 categories.

We are glad that the production of the Latvian National Opera has been noticed outside of Latvia!
