PETR ZUSKA's (1968) choreographies are performed from Copenhagen to Brussels, from St. Petersburg to Perth. They are characterized by gracefully designed and skillful composition, intelligent humor, as well as tonal and emotional tension. P. Zuska started his career as a ballet
dancer in troupes and theaters including the Prague Chamber Ballet, the Prague National Theatre, Munich's Bavarian State Ballet, Augsburg's Ballet Theatre and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal. P. Zuska has distinguished himself with refined interpretations, notable stage presence
and keen orientation to detail. As the artistic director of the National Theatre Ballet of the Czech Republic for the past nine years, he has created an accomplished troupe that has earned recognition throughout Europe.
