The Belarusian baritone Vladimir Gromov is a Laureate of the National Stanislav Moniushko Competition of Singers (Belarus, 2001), a Diploma-winner of the 33rd International Vocal Competition in Belgrad (Serbia, 2003).
He has graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music (class by Honored Artist of Republic Belarus M.Zhiliuk). Since 1999 he is a soloist at the National Academic Opera Republic of Belarus.
In 2008 he received the State Belarussian award - Medal of Francisc Skorina - for the great creative achievements, high professional skills and outstanding service in development of the national culture and art.
Vladimir Gromov has participated in the international opera and chamber vocal music festivals and toured with the concert programs to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Iran, Korea, Spain, Portugal, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland, Germany, and Thailand.
His repertoire includes Onegin (Eugene Onegin), Tomski (Queen of Spades), Griaznoy (The Tsar`s Bride), Salieri (Mozart and Salieri), Schelkalov (Boris Godunov), Silvio (I pagliacci), Alfio (Cavalleria rusticana), Scarpia (Tosca), Amonasro (Aida), Rigoletto (Rigoletto), Macbeth (Macbeth), Renato (Un ballo in maschera), Morales (Carmen), Conte (Le nozze di Figaro) etc.
