Vasily Efimov performed Bomely in The Tsar's Bride, Indian Guest in Sadko, Bajan and Finn in Ruslan and Ludmila, Florestan in Un Marie a la porte by Offenbach, Beppe in Rita by Donizetti, Peter in Peter the Great by Gretri, Simpleton in Boris Godunov, Albazar in Il Turco in Italia - all at Helikon Opera Moscow, where he is a member of the soloists ensemble at present.
Other engagements include Prince Nilsky in The Gambler (Lyon), Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte (Paris, Châtelet, and Montpellier), Almeric in Iolanta (Toulouse), and Shvonder in Raskatov's A Dog's Heart (Amsterdam).
In the 2010/11 season Vasily Efimov appeared also as Father Elustaphe in Betrothal in a Monastery (Toulouse and Opéra Comique, Paris) and Ivan in The Nose (Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and Lyon).
In the 2011/12 season he sang as a guest Almeric in Iolanta (Teatro Real, Madrid) and Junge Diener in Elektra (Montpellier).
