The Russian mezzo-soprano SOFIA FAINBERG graduated from the St Petersburg State Conservatory in 2010 and the same year joined the Mikhailovsky Opera Company.

Her repertoire includes Olga, Larina, Nanny (Eugene Onegin), Lyubasha (The Tsar's Bride), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Milovzor (The Queen of Spades).

She is a diploma-bearer of the International Singing Competition St Petersburg (2009) and a diploma-bearer of the International Shtokolov Singing Competition (2009).
