Felix Kudryavtsev graduated from the Moscow Conservatory where he studied singing with Prof. Boldin. In 2003 he became a trainee at the Stanislavsky Opera Theatre, Moscow.
Since 2008 he has been a soloist at The Stanislavsky Opera Theatre and took part in the theater’s productions on tour in Russia and abroad, in the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, Israel, Cyprus.
His repertoire inludes Don Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Bonzo in Madama Butterfly, Mendoza in Betrothal in a Monastery, King René in Iolanta, Bartolo in Le nozze di Figaro, Gremin in Eugene Onegin, Village Head, Kalenik in Rimsky-Korsakov’s May Night, Old Servant in Rubinstein’s Demon, Johann in Werther, among others.
Among Felix’s recent and upcoming international pruductions are Shostakovich’s Nose at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and at Opéra national de Lyon, and Cook in L’amour des trois oranges (Latvian National Opera, Riga).
Felix Kudryavtsev is the recipient of the 3rd Prize at the Sobinov Festival Vocal Competition in Saratov (2004) and the Prize for the Best performance of a Russian Romance at the Glinka Vocal Competition in Kazan, Russia (1999).
