The Croatian tenor Domagoj Dorotić graduated from the Music Academy in Zagreb (class of Prof. Vlatka Oršanić) in 2008 by winning Rectors Award from the University of Zagreb for his accomplishments.
Domagoj Dorotić has won the 1st prize at State Vocal Competition 2007 in Dubrovnik (Croatia). In 17th International Summer Academy Prague-Wiena-Budapest 2008 Domagoj Dorotić was singing within the master course of Prof. Rotraud Hansmann, where he won a prize for one of the best singing interpretations. He won the 1st Prize of Jury on International Singers Competition at Schloss Laubach in Germany (2008). In 2009 he won the Croatian Theatre Award in the category for the outstanding accomplishments of young opera singers up to 30 years of age.
Since the season 2010/2011 Domagoj Dorotić is an opera soloist at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb.
His repertoire includes Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas), Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi), Nemorino (L'elisir d'amore), Prunier (La Rondine), Fenton (Falstaff), Andrei (Mazeppa), Macduff (Macbeth), Remendado (Carmen) and others.
