Bing Bing Wang, born in China, started her piano study in her early age. In 2001 she entered Shanghai Conservatory of Music Middle School, studied with Xu Si Ning. At the age of 18 years old, with the first merit she got into Shanghai Conservatory of Music Vocal Department, studied with mezzo soprano Prof. Xie Le. During her studied in the conservatory, she had gained many scholarships. In 2008 she was the only bachelor graduate went straight into the Master Degree program. Then in 2009 she went to the world renowned Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan for her further graduate studies, under the guidance of soprano Prof. Carmen Stara. In 2012, she successfully gave her graduate recital and earned her master degree from the Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan, Italy.
In 2008, she entered the 5th Chinese International Master Class, received from Canadian Lyrichoregra, general director Alian Nonat the title of “ International Young Opera Ambassador ”.She has been invited to perform in Canada, Italy, France, also entered competitions. In 2007, September, at age 21, she made her debut at the Romanian Brasov Opera singing the role of Micaela in “Carmen”. The critics claimed “ A young soprano with beautiful color of voice and good stage presence ”.There after she was invited to perform in the “International Young Singers Opera Festival in Montreal, Canada.
While in Shanghai, she has frequently performed in chamber music commemorated Mozart & Beethoven organized by Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. She also performed in Shanghai Concert Hall, He Lu Ding Concert Hall, Ning Bo Grand Theatre. She has sung the roles of Susana in “Le Nozze di Figaro” , Despina in “Cosi fan tutte”, Marzelline in” Fidelio”, all received critical acclaims.
During her studies in Europe, she participated in the Master Classes of Mirella Freni and Mariella Devia. In 2010 she entered the First Savonlinna Opera Festival Competition in Finland and competed with several hundred participants worldwide, being the only Chinese soprano who had reached the final of 12 singers.
In 2010/2011 , She sang Musetta in “La Boheme”, Juliet in “Romeo & Juliet”, Adina in “ L’elisir d’amore ” all at the Verdi Concert Hall in Milan, Italy.
In 2012, she has sung a concert in The Venetian Theatre in Macau with China National Symphony & China’s Three Tenors. She will sing the role of Serpina in “La serva padrona” in Macau International Music Festival. She will appear in numerous concerts in Italy and China.
In previous seasons, she guested in national theatres of Belgrade and Macedonia. In 2017, she was invited to sing Liu in Puccini's Turandot at the Teatro di Salerno, in Italy, under the baton of Daniel Oren. In summer 2018, she participated in Puccini Festival (Torre del Lago), with the role of Lui.
