On March 31, 2022 the outstanding tenor Rame Lahaj will perform the role of Cavaradossi in Giacomo Puccini's opera "Tosca". The Latvian National Opera Orchestra will be conducted by the Italian maestro Jacopo Sipari di Peskasserolli. The title role will be interpreted by Dana Bramane,  and Jānis Apeinis will perform the role of Scarpia.  

Rame Lahaj is tremendously talented and celebrated lyric tenor with impressive international career. His recognizable voice all’ italiana has exceptional color and timbrical qualities. He has ’present’ passion in his singing and charismatic scenic presence. In 2016 Rame Lahaj was a prize winner in Placido Domingo’s "Operalia" competition. He is considered one of the most prominent singers in his generation.

Latvian public previously had a chance to enjoy his performane in opera "Rigoletto" singing the role of Duke, as well as participating in the Gala concert "Mūsu Operai 100".
