The premiere of Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s opera Mazeppa will take place at the Latvian National Opera on January 28.

Conductor of the new production is Modestas Pitrenas, Stage Director – Ozren Prohic, Set Designers – Branko Lepen and Ozren Prohic, Costume Designer – Petra Dancevic. The cast of Mazeppa includes Edem Umerov, Ivan Ponomarenko, Krišjānis Norvelis, Ramaz Chikviladze, Yulianna Bawarska, Aira Rūrāne, Mikhail  Makarov, Alexey Kosarev and others.
