Ticket sales for performances in April, May, and June 2024 start on September 6th.
Ticket sales for the Latvian National Opera and Ballet performances in April, May, and June 2024 will begin on Wednesday, September 6th at 11:00 AM. The repertoire will feature premieres of the ballet The Jungle Book and the opera L'elisir d'amore. As a tradition, at the end of the season, we will showcase the new productions for the adult audience of the past season.

Ballet THE JUNGLE BOOK by Kārlis Lācis

In the jungle, where life flows in accordance with rules of the animal kingdom, a human child appears unexpectedly. He’s discovered by Mother Wolf, who knows human nature all too well. But she decides to protect and raise the boy because "who knows, maybe this one will be different?"
Choreographer Raimonds Martinovs has created the characters and the plot for the ballet The Jungle Book by drawing inspiration from the English author Rudyard Kipling’s collection of stories, with music composed by Kārlis Lācis.
Recommended age of the spectators: 7+
Opera L'ELISIR D'AMORE by Gaetano Donizetti

Nemorino is madly in love with the Adina, but he lacks the courage to confess his feelings to her. Oh, if only there was a magical potion that could open Adina's beautiful eyes and let her see Nemorino's undying love! Alas, the travelling salesman Dr. Dulcamara happens to have the necessary concoction in his collection. However, the effect of the potion isn’t quite what Nemorino had in mind...
The production will be created by the German director Sven-Erik Bechtolf in collaboration with the set and costume designer Julian Crouch.
In remembrance of the victims of the Communist genocide, on June 14, Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem will resounded at the Latvian National Opera.
Starting from September 6th, we also offer tickets for the Concert for Babies, intended for the youngest viewers up to 4 years of age. In the first half of the season, the concert will take place on October 14th, November 4th, 12th, and 25th, as well as on December 10th.
Ticket sales for the New Year Gala at the Opera will begin on September 20th.
