FABIEN TEIGNE has studied set design at Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg with Pierre-André Weitz, the long-term set designer for Olivier Py, director of the Avignon Festival. During 10 years, Fabien Teigné has worked as Weitz’s assistant for the productions at Grand Théâtre de Genève, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Opéra National de Paris, La Monnaie, Bruxelles, and Théâtre des Champs Elysées. Since 2012, he has been working with Marie-Eve Signeyrole in productions for Opéra National de Montpellier, Opéra National de Lorraine, and Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. Together they were artists in residence at the Opéra National de Montpellier in 2016/1017, preparing, amongst other, the production of Il trittico by Puccini. In 2017/2018, they are going to stage together Rönja at the Opera Zurich and musical SeX’Y for the Academy of Opéra National de Paris.
