Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli

Born in L’Aquila in 1985, Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli studied piano, composition and singing and graduated at “A. Casella” Conservatory of L’Aquila, then he continued his studies in the most important national and international schools and academies under the authoritative guidance of artists such as Alberto Veronesi, President of Puccini Foundation and Jan Latham Koenig, music director of Novaya Opera of Moscow.

In his career: Principal Guest Conductor of the Puccini Festival Foundation of Torre Del Lago, Artistic Director of The International Midsummer Festival of Italy, Artistic Director of “Sacrum Festival” in Vatican and, Casting Manager of Plovdiv Opera House.

He has been the guest conductor of the best Italian orchestras such as ORT – Tuscany Regional Symphony Orchestra, “Abruzzo” Symphony Orchestra (ISA), Symphony Orchestra of Lecce and Salento (OLES), Puccini Philharmonic Orchestra, Bari Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of Salerno “Claudio Abbado”, “Teatro Cilea” of Reggio Calabria Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of Benevento (OFB), and international orchestras like National Radio and Tv Symphony Orchestra of Serbia (RTS), Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO), Istanbul National Symphony Orchestra, National Theatre Orchestra of Serbia, Tbilisi National Opera House Symphony Orchestra, National Theatre Orchestra of Cluj – Napoca, Symphony Orchestra of Zapopan (Mexico), National Symphony Orchestra of Radio and Television of Ukraine, National Symphony Orchestra of Thessalonika – Greece, National Opera House Orchestra of Azerbaijan, National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, National State Orchestra of Plovdiv Opera House – Bulgaria, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Mongolian State, Sri Lanka National State Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, Brasov Philharmonic Orchestra, Stara Zagora Opera House Orchestra – Bulgaria, Latvia National Opera House Symphony Orchestra, Astrakan State Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

He worked with some of the most important international singers such as Cecilia Bartoli (“Opfer und Verfuehrer – Das schicksal der kastraten” for ZDF – SKY CLASSICA), Roberto Scandiuzzi, Orlin Anastassov, Anna Maria Chiuri, Alexandra Zabala, Dimitra Theodossiou, Angela Gheorghiu, Fiorenza Cedolins, Chiara Taigi, Silvana Froli, Amadi Lagha, Rudy Park, Irene Molinari, Leonardo Caimi, Jadranka Jovanovic, Federica Vitali, Rebeka Lokar, Donata d’Annunzio Lombardi and also with the solists Stefano Bollani, Michele Campanella, Sandro Ivo Bratoli, Carlo Maria Parazzoli.

 He conducted Italian and international great opera productions such as “Norma” at the Greek Theater of Syracuse, “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” at the Taromina Ancient Theater, “Nabucco” at Pompei Ancient Theater, “La Bohème” with E. Scola direction at Great Puccini Open Air Theatre of Torre del Lago,  “Turandot” for the 90th anniversary of the first performance at the Great Puccini Open Air Theatre of Torre del Lago (with PARAMAX DVD home video release in 2018), “Traviata” at Massimo Theatre of Pescara, “Madama Butterfly”, “La Boheme” and “Rigoletto” with the Puccini Foundation at the National Theatre of Managua – Nicaragua, “Cinderella” at the National Theater of Mongolia, “Nabucco”, “Aida”, “Otello”, “La Forza del Destino”, “Andrea Chenier” at the Belgrade National Theater, “La Boheme” at the Cluj – Napoca National Opera House of Romania, “Madama Butterfly” at the Municipality Opera House of Casale Monferrato, “Madama Butterfly” at The National Opera House and Ballet of Baku – Azerbaijan, “Madama Butterfly” at the opening of the “Open Air” Festival of Plovdiv – Bulgaria, “La Traviata” at the closing of the “Open Air” Festival of Plovdiv – Bulgaria, “Tosca”, “Madama Butterfly” in Stara Zagora Opera House – Bulgaria, “Trittico (Tabarro, Suor Angelica, Gianni Schicchi)” at Great Puccini Open Air Theatre of Torre del Lago for the celebration of the 100 years anniversary, “Lucia di Lammermoor” at “Marrucino” Theatre of Chieti, “Nabucco” at the Latvian National Opera House, “Otello” at Astrakan State Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

He is invited as guest director of the ballet at the Belgrade National Theater where he directed the great productions of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker” and “The Sleeping Beauty”.

He also conducted for Italian, Vatican and International TV: Beethoven’s Symphony n. 4 – 6 – 7 – 9, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony n.5, Verdi’s Requiem, Mozart’s Requiem, Rossini’s Stabat Mater and Petite Messe Solennelle, Lalo’s Cello Concert, Weber’s Clarinet Concert and the Final of the International Sacred Music Competition.

At the age of 22 he also graduated in Law, and today he is a lawyer trainee in Rome and Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at “Roma Tre” University; he has also a PHD in Criminal Law, Civil Procedure and Canonic Law with a specialization in Latin language, and he is currently the youngest lawyer of the Roman Rota Apostolic Tribunal.
