TADEUSZ WOJCIECHOWSKI is a conductor and cellist. He studied at the Academy of Music in Warsaw and improved his skills at the National Conservatory in Paris.
He has won numerous prizes as a conductor and appeared at many prestigious opera houses around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Royal Opera in Stockholm, the Royal Opera in Oslo and the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen. He has performed in many countries, including Germany, Britain, Luxembourg, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Slovenia, Italy, France, Turkey, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and Japan. He has made numerous archival recordings for EMI, Polish Radio and Danish Radio. His repertoire includes more than forty operas and the majority of the world's symphonic repertoire. He was awarded a Gloria Artis Silver Medal for service to culture in 2007.
