In 1997, EVITA ZĀLĪTE graduated from the  Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, class of Prof.Ludmila Brauna. She has received additional education with Prof.A.Hanen (Netherlands, 1997-1998) and Mozarteum masterclasses in Nida (Lithuania).

 

A soloist at the Latvian National Opera since 1999. Appears in the performances of large scale vocal instrumental works with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra and the State Choir Latvija, as well as in chamber music programs. She has appeared in guest performances in USA, Austria, Israel, Holland, Russia, Canada (in 2001 she gave a solo concert at the Glen Gould Concert Hall). Evita Zālīte participates at the Early Music Festivals in Rundāle.
