In solidarity with the people of Ukraine, the Latvian National Opera and Ballet announces that from now on it will only work with guest artists who clearly, unequivocally, and publicly express their condemnation of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. We also urge artists whose concerts at the Latvian National Opera are organized by other event producers to do so publicly, otherwise, the lease agreements already signed will be terminated.

Starting today, 25 February, the Latvian National Opera Orchestra will play the Ukrainian national anthem before every performance.
