Concert by the London Symphony Orchestra

First perfomance in Latvia by one of the leading orchestras of the world

A unique event at the Latvian National Opera – the London Symphony Orchestra, which has been one of the leading orchestras in the world for over a century, will visit the LNO with a special concert performance. Led by principal guest conductor Daniel Harding, the orchestra will perform two masterpieces of the Romantic era: Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 and Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 1. London Symphony Orchestra gives concerts in the best concert halls and cooperates with brilliant artists. The Orchestra is a world-leader in recording music for CD, film and events. The LSO has also recorded music for hundreds of films, including Pixar’s Brave, four of the Harry Potter series, The King’s Speech, Superman and all six Star Wars movies.
