Viktorija Jansone

VIKTORIJA JANSONE graduated from the Riga Choreography High School in 1998 (class of Indra Lapšina). She joined the LNO Ballet Company in 1998.

 

From 2002 to 2004 she was engaged as a soloist by the ballet company Ballet West in Saltlakecity (USA).  She has participated in several competitions including Eurovision Contest of New Ballet Dancers (1997), Prix de Lausanne (1998) and Vaganova Prix (1998), 3rd place at the Seoul I International Ballet Competition (2004).

 

She was awarded Aldaris Annual Award (1999). Participant of the Bartolin ballet seminar (1998, 1999).

 

She has toured with LNO Ballet Company to Belgium, Germany, Austria, England.
