Yulianna Bawarska

Soprano
YULIANNA BAWARSKA (soprano) was born in Ukraine. She graduated from the Odessa State Conservatoire (class of Prof.Irina Botvinovoy) and Tallinn Music Academy (class of Prof.Mati Palma). She has participated in the master-classes with Margarita Gruzdeva at the LNO, Rita Susovsky at the Estonian Music Academy, Peter Berne at Kloster Kirchbach in Austria, and Paul Weigold at the Wiener Kammeroper.
 
Yulianna Bawarska has worked at the musical theatres in Tallinn, Minsk, Klaipeda and Odessa, as well as at the Latvian National Opera where she sang Turandot and Helmwiege in Wagner's Die Walküre. Now she is the guest soloist at the Dnepropetrovsk National Opera, performs regularly in solo, symphonic, and chamber music concerts, and teaches singing.
 
Her repertoire include the roles of Turandot (Puccini's Turandot), Abigaille (Verdi's Nabucco), Violetta (Verdi's La Traviata), The Young Gypsy (Kalman's Die Gräfin Maritza), Santuzza (Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana), Helmwiege (Wagner's Die Walküre). The role of Turandot was sung by Yulianna Bawarska in Minsk as well as at the Open Air Festival Schneittach, Germany. She appears in many recitals, festivals, opera music and symphonic evenings in Austria, Germany, the Balcan countries, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and China.
