Irma Pavāre

Mezzo-soprano
IRMA PAVĀRE studied vocal art at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (2004-2008)  with Prof.Anita Garanča. She has participated in master-classes with Margreet Hönig (in Dippoldiswalde, Germany) and Monserrat Caballet (in Zaragoza, Spain), and vocal coaches at the Latvian Academy of Music.

During her studies, Irma Pavāre has appeared in Opera Studio Figaro productions performing Frau Gertrud in Leo Blech's Versiegelt (2006), Fidalma in Cimarosa's Il matrimonio segreto (2007) and Beppe in Mascagni's L'amico Fritz (2008).  Irma Pavāre has performed the role of Speranza in Monteverdi's Orfeo at the Latvian Academy of Music  in frames of an international baroque project (2007). 

In 2008 Irma Pavāre made her debut at the Latvian National Opera as Third Dame in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte.

Her repertoire also includes Cherubino in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, arias by various composers from old-Italian arias to verismo as well as Latvian, Russian, Italian, French, Spanish, and German chamber music.
