Rihards Mačanovskis
Bass
RIHARDS MAČANOVSKIS was educated at the Vocal department of Daugavpils Music College (1995 - 1998) and in the classes of prof.G.Antipov and A.Luste at the Latvian Academy of Music (1998).
During the studies he became a chorus member of the Latvian National opera. He obtained the bachelor degree in music in 2003 and became a soloist at the Latvian National opera. Participated in International Music Festival in Aix-en-Provence, France, and was granted with the opportunity to develop his vocal skills with German bass Hans Sotin.
Rihards Mačanovskis is a laureate of the annual Latvijas Gāze Award as the Best Opera Soloist of the Year(2012).
